Scannos that is.
So a group of spies, deep in a foreign country is meeting clandestinely
to plan an escape after their cover has been blown. They finally get to
where there leader is and they find him
gazing despondently into a half-filled thinking bowl.
It's supposed to be drinking bowl, but thinking is probably a good idea,
too.
