Hi all,
Um, that's what I've been saying all along, I was going to allow this
to become a moot point, as Susan had so deftly pointed out, but since
Lynne looked it up, and she *has* the grammatical text to back up her
assertion, I've got to thank her for supporting my views and for giving
evidence, hard, cold, written evidence in black and white or blue and
white as the case may be. <smiling. The community service, a noun
belongs to the hours. I think I may have misphrased my assertion, but
the hours possess Community Service it's what they are devoted to or
given to. Yeh, it's weird, but it is correct. The apostrophe is
correct just where it was placed by the editor of the book. So there!
