I don't make gravy either.  I tried it once about 30 years ago and it was
very crispy, I guess I cooked it too much, anyway my husband did not want me
to try that again and since I am not a big gravy person I have not.

I have done my share of experimentation, especially with meat.  I have made
some great chicken dishes.  I use different sauces and spices that I have
around the kitchen.  I have made the Thanksgiving turkey for the past two
years.  I use a variation on a recipe that I learned several years ago. This
year it turned out especially well.  My in-laws were impressed!  I just
don't make gravy, because a few years ago I put too much flour in it.
Besides, my husband makes better gravy.
