I meant the superintendent who put Sue's friend's dog
in a place on a hot day where he died of heatstroke.

In your case, I find it unconscionable that the
principal did not discipline the children involved
more severely, like suspending them, and get their
parents involved. That would not be allowed to happen
today, nor do I think it could have happened in
schools I attended growing up--but perhaps I'm being
naive.
