Oh, Sue, how tragic! <smile> I know how I'd feel if that happened to me! I hope you have it fixed by now, but yes, it does sound like it needs to be sent back. I have two Braille Lites, an M20 and an M40. The M20 short-circuited on me and doesn't work now. I was able to get the update file for the M40 so I'm running the latest firmware on that one now, and fortunately that's still working, but for how long I don't know. That's how I do all my reading, so I dread the day when that thing stops working. I think I'd literally cry if it stopped. I almost did when the M20 stopped working! <smile> Take care. -- Julie Morales Email & Windows/MSN Messenger: mercy421@xxxxxxxxxxx Skype mercy0421 AIM mercylab421 http://juliemorales.avonrepresentative.com/ Currently in Winchester Regional, Virginia Clear, 23F°(-5C°) Wind:W (280°) at 20mph (17KT) gusting to 25mph (22KT) VUJA DE: The Feeling You've Never Been Here. ----- Original Message ----- From: "siss52" <siss52@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, January 31, 2007 8:18 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] O.T. Braille-Lite Ah alas, I dropped my Braille Lite, and noow the cells on the left side do not show up. I suppose there is no "quick fix" for this? I suppose it will have to go to the factory, is that correct? Sue S.
