I've heard this guy speak. I'm not an adventurer and mostly I think doing
things like this is crazy, although I rarely pass up an opportunity to read
an adventure memoir. <grin> He has a childlike open joy when he talks about
his experiences. And I agree with the author of this article--he doesn't
seem arrogant or superior.
