Dear Booksharian citizens:

My apologies about posting without the OT in the
subject title on Touching Beauty. I was in awe of what
this artitst has accomplished and he had his dream
come true a Touching Museum where blind people can
learn about scuplture and art touching it. He works
with only three fingers of his left hand with an
special tool made for him. He's an sculptor.

A promising painter, he wasn't blind but when he
went to Vietnam war a shot and a grenade explosion
left him badly wounded and enventually blind. He was
invited to touch Michelangelo Bounarroti statue David
at Italy and he discovered something in the statue
that most of us wouldn't have known: David's eyes are
sculpted like hearts.

It has nothing to do with books but I associated
the story with Bookshare and the success of many of
you through life. Here are PhD's, Master's, engineers,
teachers, lawyers, dog trainers, housewives, husbands,
mothers, fathers in spite of being blind. I am
privileged being here with you.

Lissi, sensei means teacher, I took to call her
that affectionately because she approached me with
such sweetness about my English grammar. I couldn't
help to ask for more guidance on that subject.

And I smiled every time Amy, Urnie, Evan, and Patrik
would chide each other about Sam's cooking gear. I'm
not a Tolkien fan but I will read his books; by the
way Sam took his cooking gear and thew it away :-| .
Is it cooking gear or pans? ;-)

Best Wishes
