Hi all,Debbie, I don't know how you can be satisfied with a device that behaves in such a way! It's almost as if you're saying that since you're blind, you should be satisfied with this kluge.
No, the TTS was not turned on for me. I was just taught how to turn it on, turn on the audio book and turn it off.
The Kindle may work for partials, but it doesn't work for those who are totally blind, not really. The computer version works somewhat, at least you can attempt to go forward and back, but even that isn't really good.
No, thank you. I want a reading device that is going to talk to me all the time, whatever I do, is going to allow me to navigate through my books, choose what books I want to read and then read to me continuously, all without any stopping and starting or malarkiface.
