If you want a truly accessible cell phone you're going to have to put either Mobile Speak or Talks on it. These are the two screen readers for cell phone. Vorizen has windows platform phones so you'd need to check into Mobile Speak for windows smart phones athttp://www.codefactory.esThere's a list of phone on the sight that are supported. If you don't want to put a screen reader on the phone then access is limited and like you say you can't really get into the menus, use the calendar functions, etc. If you need more info, feel free to contact me off list.Denise At 06:18 PM 6/19/2009, you wrote:AT&T seems to have a better selection, especially if you're wanting one with the GPS feature. I do, though, believe the Motorola Q can be used on Verizon. I'm coming up with a lot of out-of-date information trying to Google for information about accessible Verizon cell phones. My contract is up soon. Customer service told me that Verizon is out of stock on the one model they had with a screen reader. My current phone is an LGVX8300. Does anyone know where I can read about Verizon phones that are perhaps more accessible than just being able to read down so far in the menus and stop talking when you get to where you want to be?
