Cindy,
I must have missed something here. Did Bud know you were getting married or was that just the old phrase that happened to hit home?
Congratulations -- or I guess it's more appropriate to say "Best Wishes" to a bride-to-be. Your meeting sounds nicely romantic. When is the wedding to be? Is your fiance also blind or is he sighted? Was he also getting a dog or is he an instructor? Where does he live and where will the two of you be living? Were you both young and students? Eight years seems like a long time to wait to get married, but I know that if people meet when they are young it is necessary to wait until they are out of school and are earning incomes to get married.
Please don't answer any of these questions if they are out of line. I am not the most tactful person in the world, I've been told, and tend to ask questions that my family tell me are none of my business. But i do get interested in other people's lives. You can answer me privately if you feel that others on the list wouldn't be interested--if you want to answer at all.
Cindy

I knew someone would catch on (smile). His name is Jeff Clark, I met him in 1997 when I received my first guide dog.
