Yes I did unfortunately.
My second dog, Guinevere, I had her for two years and two days. And in that time we struggled with bad house behaviors, distractibility towards animals, and aggression towards other dogs. The final straw was the day she was distracted by a cat and neglected to tell me about the four and a half foot drop off the side of a set of steps into the bushes, I fell, panicked didn't know how far I was falling and broke my ankle. She retired the following week because I knew I couldn't trust her.
So yep, I have had three dogs in now what will be ten years, smile. I got Ludden in February, brought him home on Valentine's day and he is turning out to be a fantastic dog. House behaviors are great. he is laid back and gentle, easy to work with, great around other animals birds, dogs and cats included, Guinevere's three down falls, and knows how to behave himself around other people's dogs. Which is a big thing when you are a Rehabilitation Teacher and going into people's homes. Smile. His one interesting habit is he will absolutely destroy kongs, or rubbery toys. We have bones, ropes, and things called Goughnuts for him to chew on. He has destroyed other toys even those claimed to be indestructible, smile.

Thanks everyone for the kind words on the article.  Smile.  he is a love,
Ludden is, and a great dog.  he is not even two yet, and in some ways I
can't believe he is as mature as he is.  Though he does show his puppyish
side from time to time.
