I had a message that did the same thing in Outlook Express, but since Priview Pane was off, I was able to read most of the messages except the ones near the message with the problem. Then I hit control+a to highlight all, and then pressed the delete key, and that got the message out of my inbox. Hi, Jana. That's exactly what I do. <smile> Whenever I have to set up a new computer, Windows account or whatever, when I open Outlook Express for the first time, that's one of the first things I change. Hi, Shelley! Just to add to what Julie said, if you don't mind pressing the Enter key to open a message, you can keep the Preview pane turned off. That way, your messages won't open automatically and cause unwanted results. <Smile> HTH!
