Subject: [bksvol-discuss] O T Do Not Call List

Dear Booksharian Friends,

A friend just sent me the short message below. I called the number and
reached the National Do Not Call Registry. All I had to do was press 1
for
English and then enter my phone number with area code.

Please use your discretion. My friend has never given me spamish or
damaging
computer advice, but I have no guarantees. I do know those floods of
solicitating phone calls both annoy and trouble me.

Here is here message.

The FTC is releasing all phone numbers, cell and land line, to
telemarketers
today. If you want to be on the "do not call" list you must call this
number 888.382.1222 from the phone number that you are registering.

And sheepishly I'll add that if I could take back the message I wrote
about
my dear guide dog and the flies, etc., I would. I cringe at my
audacity and
preachiness. I'm sorry.

Always with love,

Lissi
