Many of us have done that from the beginning, but originally it wa not 
required--and originally, when all that was required was to be sure all the 
pages were present and the copyright info and title page were present, 
proofreads only got 50 cents per book validated. That's why there are/were so 
many books in the collection that now have to be redone. The idea when 
bookshare started was to get books into the collection, as many as possible and 
as quickly as possible. Now quality is what is important. smile
