Hi Cindy,

NO, I wasn't able to work the magic.... But I'm sure it will work out fine
in the end.

LOL--Well, I am probably the most indecisive person I
know. Yesterday, when my husband asked if ai wanted
more roll and I said yes, he looked asme with a very
surprised look on his face. It's rare I give such a
definite answer.

I'm late coming to my mail today, but after reading
Katie's post, I was hoping she'd succeeded in
convincing you to keep working on vol. 1 with my help
providing the missing pages. I doubt there's much
difference in the editions --possibly just in the
introductions, maybe in what's included, but if some
things are omitted in later editions to make room for
newer selections, then all the more reason to keep
both. I see that the library systems have more than
one edition, although not all in the same branch.

Yes, I'm a very good fence-sitter--and I admit
Tartuffe discouraged me. But now that's it's daytime
instead of the wee hours of the morning, I suppose it
wouldn't be so hard to validate, especially if it
scanned well. And I think Kenneth said he would scan
volume 2. Perhaps either he or you can re-submit
volume one again and we can work on it together.

I will exchange Volume 2 for volume 1. I can always
get vol. 2 again when necessary, but I will only be
able to renew it once, so it's best not to get it
until we're ready for it--"we" being whoever.
