Scott, you've made my week! I enjoy doing BSOs of books that need to
be replaced. As far as new users are concerned, books rated fair or
good don't exist since they are hidden by default. That means we have
thousands of books that are functionally inaccessible for now. Until
now, they've been hard to find unless I just download books added in
the early years of Bookshare and read them. My vision for Bookshare is
that eventually no subscriber will pick up a book with significant
missing or garbled text. That includes my early scans. If any of you
find print copies of those books and can replace them, do so with my
heartfelt blessing. (smile) I no longer live in that library system
and don't have access to them. When I can afford to, I plan to buy
print copies and replace as much of my early work as possible.
