Mayrie,

I can't really say that I have a particular genre of books that catches my
attention more than others. I like Christian literature, biographies,
history and definitely humor.

HI Doug,

I know I'm not the only person with a houseful of books. What kinds of
things interest you? It's always easier to begin proofreading with
something that interests you, in my opinion. And maybe one of us with a
bazillion books could scan something to your liking, and short.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Newbie Question

My name is Doug Maples, Valerie's husband and Nichole's dad. I am a
quadriplegic of 37 years and am enjoying working with Nichole in helping her
with her education. We have been reading books from Bookshare for several
years, but I am brand-new to editing.

I was really hoping to start off with something simple (a really short
book!) that I can cut my teeth on. Is there a way I can get one on hold for
me that fits those criteria. Oh yes, a really good scan would be helpful,
also.

Thanks -- Doug
