Jane,

Kes books cannot be opened directly with Word or Wordpad. However, if you
are using K1K, you can, and should, convert to RTF before submitting. You
can do this by going to File (alt+f) then save as. Choose the RTF choice in
the File Type list.

Pratik

Thanks Gerald. I've saved the instructions.

Do you know if kes files can be opened in MSWord or WordPad?

It's a shame if people who do not have Kurzweil cannot validate books with
kes endings.

Jane
