One other thought:
There is no one right or wrong way to do things. Rather, there are
variations on a theme many of which have been discovered by trial and
error; and it is a continual learning experience.
Book scanning and validating is an art rather than a science with one's
skill level advancing both through one's own person experience as well as
through
the sharing that goes on with this list and places elsewhere.
