Hi Kristin,
You should not put a space in front of the ellipsis, no matter if it is at
the end of a sentence or in the middle.
When the ellipsis is at the end of a sentence, followed by a quotation mark,
do not put a space between the ellipsis and the quotation mark.

Hey there everyone!
Hopefully everyone is having a great day today! I am currently working on a
pretty lengthy book that has a ton of ellipses in it. Before this book can
be accepted into the collection, I need to fix all of the ellipses which is
no problem however I am confused by the instructions bookshare sent me in
order to correct it. The reason I am confused is because they are telling me
there should be no spaces between the periods which I understand. However
where I get confused is when the ellipses appear at an end of a sentence
with a quote behind it. Am I required to have a space before the ellipses or
should I be leaving it alone since it is at the end of a sentence? Also if
it is not at the end of a sentence, am I required to have the word in the
story then a space and than the ellipses ? Sorry for all of the questions
here but I only want to get this correct so I can get this very good novel
into the collection. Thanks for any assistance you guys can provide me and I
