Let me say that whether you need to contact the submitter or not every proofreader really should look at the history page anyway. When the book is originally uploaded to the checkout list the very last step is to leave comments. The comments section often contains notes to the proofreader. I know that I frequently leave them. The next one I submit, for example, will be containing notes about certain slang words from England and Ireland that will most likely be flagged by spell checkers as misspelled and that could be mistaken for scannos. If there are no notes then the history page can be easily closed, but you really should check.

Hi Dornetta,
You can contact the submitter of a book yourself.
Go to the book information page which you can get to on your "my checked out books" page. On the book information page which is where you'd find the title, author, and short and long synopses, you need to look for a link titled "book history" which is immediately below the "reading tools" link. On that page there is a mail to link for the submitter located in amongst all of the information about the progress of your book through Bookshare.
Please ask again if you can't find the link to e-mail your submitter.
