Hey Guys,
I just finished scanning this book I’m going to read before submitting it to
Bookshare for proofreading. There are just two short mathematical expressions
in it. My OCR is garbling them. There are two Greek letters in each expression.
My OCR is garbling those, but also not rendering other things in them very well
either. I’d really be grateful if someone familiar with math at at least the
Algebra level or beyond could take a look at them and write them out in words
for me. I think I recognize the Greek letters, but I’m not positive I’m reading
these expressions correctly because I’m not making sense of them.
I can send an image of the page to whomever thinks they will understand them
and is willing to look at these short expressions, or, perhaps Google will have
an image of the page. The book just came out last month.
