Hi all,

I guess I'm not as familiar with Mexican cooking as I should be. What is an empanada, please? Ain't it nice to know that you don't know everything? I'm willing to learn. I could go on google and see if I can find a recipe, but if somebody can tell me in one paragraph or less what an empanada is, I'd appreciate it. Indian food I know. Greek/Middle East I know. Japanese I know. Some Korean I know. Chinese I know. Jewish I know. French I know. I guess I'm just ignorant about Mexican food. Somebody enlighten me, please.

Ann P.
