I not only read the book but I spell-check afterward, and check the paginate afterward. I've found that, because I'm sighted, I sometimes see what I expect to see, and the spell-check has caught things I've missed; also, sometimes I've become so involved in what I'm reading reading, I've missed a page break or numbered two pages the same number, The only things I don't read are the index and bibliographies in nonfiction; I rely on the spell-check to catch errors, though when I do the pagination check I skim the pages to catch errors the spell check might have not realized were errors,.
