He’s talking about some people not seeing any text in messages from Vanessa. 
They had the same problem previously with messages from Madeleine.

Chris, It's not notices we're not receiving. It's that the book share site 
wasn't showing  that we had any books checked out when we knew we did. Also, 
the most recent post said the books checked out chart showed n/a in the column 
that's supposed to  show the date the books are due to expire book are due to 
expire.

The problems may have been fixed. I haven't checked yet today
