I hope you get a new BN soon, E. That's awful. Sometimes you can
validate using Word, especially if the scan is good, but if you have to
validate a more complicated book, the BN is the way to go. Being able
to actually "see" what's what is important in those more complicated
books. Gosh, I sure hope you can find a BN soon! It wasn't under
warrantee by any chance or you didn't have a WMA? Yuck. Hoping 2009
is a better year.
