I'm not using a workflow yet, I do everything by hand and choose export from
the File menu.

Chris, I couldn't get export to be one of my choices on step 3. I picked
scan images for step 1, recognize images for step 2, and then my choices
are:
Correct Recognition Results
Save
Save as OPD
Save to FTP
Send in Mail
Save to Sharepoint
or Finish Workflow
Which workflow are you picking that gives you an export option?
