Thank you for your thoughts I also agree with them. So will do that.
The text does indicate that the stencil is
a Circle, Elephant and circus tent, etc.

Hi Shelley,
Sorry no one has responded to your questions yet.
I know you've probably seen it, but the proofing manual might help you out
here. Here it is:
https://www.bookshare.org/cms/proofreading-home
As to the stencil images, even if they scanned perfectly, Bookshare can't
currently handle volunteer-scanned books with images. So they do need to be
removed, along with any junk characters that are probably an artifact of the
OCR software trying to recognize the images. After you've cleaned up the page
just write: [Image removed] (including the square brackets.
It might be useful to add an image description letting the reader know that
the images are stencils , but it's not necessary, especially if the
surrounding text makes it pretty obvious what the images are. If you do write
a description, do this:
As far as your numbering question, it seems that the number was probably
larger than the rest of the text and OCR software sometimes puts the number
on a separate line. My opinion is that you should move the number to precede
the step to which it refers. Again, my opinion, is, if you can't verify that
there is or isn't a period after the number, you should leave it out. Just
make sure there is a space between the number and the step.
I hope this is helpful...
Deborah

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Missing Stencils how do I note
I am working on a book and it has some interesting twerks. One of which is
that there are apparently stencils that people are supposed to photocopy or
trace. It is for one of the sections and honestly I am not sure how to note
them.
I do have the images of the pages, but I can’t visually pull the stencil out
of the pictures and not sure how exactly to get it to appear in the book. Or
do I do a note Scanner’s Note: Stencils are not in book, or something like
that.
The ideas of the book, the techniques, and things honestly could be done
using any stencil of the right size, I have a bunch in a box that I am
anxious to try on these ideas. But I did not know what to do.
Still wondering about the numbering of the steps if I can put them on the
line with the step and put a period after the number or need to leave them
out in space where they are, help!!!!
Book is
