[bksvol-discuss] Re: Midwife's Tale and Place Called Trinity

I just returned from the library with A PLACE CALLED TRINITY
and now I'm "having a senior moment." Why did I get this book
from the library? Did someone need help with someone or am I
validating it? Is it in Step 1? (I'll go look while I wait for an answer.)

Hugs,
Marilyn

Yes, they do sound interesting! Thanks for the offer to get it from your
library. The Midwife book has a lot of old English and old-fashioned
text, and so I'm expecting that I'll need to do the validation with the
book in front of me. So I will ask my public library to get it by
inter-library loan, I think.

One of your online comments keeps coming to mind -- about how
volunteering with Bookshare has given you the chance to read books you
never would have read otherwise. This midwife diary is one of those. I'm
really intrigued by what her life and work were like.

Thanks as always, Cindy, for your helpfulness!

Devorah

Both books sound interesting, and my library has both
but I'm glad other people have offered, because I have
so many books on my validation list at the moment,
including a very long one that I keep postponing until
we get the PDS books done and I fulfill other
requests. smile However, if anyone needs help with
pages or anything I can get the books and provide
help.

Cindy
