If you have lost your book somewhere on your computer it is not necessary to release the book to download it again. On your checkout page just click the RTF link and you can download a fresh copy without releasing it.

I just wanted to add that I have had that happen on this Windows 7 computer. The download process is a bit different, and sometimes a book will be on my “my checked-out books” page, even though it didn’t download. What I do is release the book I do not have, then it will return to the check-out list.

Dolores,

This book: (Hold For Sr. Dolores) A Dark Night Hidden (Hawkenlye Mysteries #6) <http://www.bookshare.org/browse/book/444287/%2528Hold%2BFor%2BSr.%2BDolores%2529%2BA%2BDark%2BNight%2BHidden%2B%2528Hawkenlye%2BMysteries%2B%25236%2529?returnPath=L2Jvb2tRdWV1ZVByb2Nlc3Npbmc%2F>, is on the "Books in process" list. Shows that you checked-out the book. Search your computer for the file.
Good Luck,
Pam

I went to pull a book which had "Hold for Sr Dolores". While I was saving it, it disappeared. After searching for the author, it was gone from the books to be proofed. How will I find it or will it have to be replaced on the checkout list? Thank you.
