If you have lost your book somewhere on your computer it is not necessary to release the book to download it again. On your checkout page just click the RTF link and you can download a fresh copy without releasing it.

The download process is a bit different, and sometimes a book will be on my “my checked-out books” page, even though it didn’t download.
