Hi Monica, Doesn't Amazon have a Wish List feature? I wonder if we could use it for this purpose somehow? If it were under a Benetech Amazon account, then the organization could receive some commission off the purchase of the books. ----- Original Message ----- From: Monica Willyard To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Wednesday, February 27, 2008 9:31 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Looking for ideas of books to scan? Cindy, did you know that Google has indexed our wish list? (smile) I wonder if somewhere down the road we could code a page where people could buy the books on the wish list and actually donate them to Bookshare. Maybe peple who already have the books that they have read could send them to Bookshare too. It could be like a sort of book drive where the general public might be willing to help us. People may not have the time to help us scan, but they might have the money or the books to help us build the collection. They could have the books sent to the Bookshare office either through Amazon or by mailing them directly. What do you think? Also, Jake's site has a list of books that need rescans (and some are listed on the Wish List, too). G.Cindy
