This goes back a bit, but my recollection is that RTF files can't be corrupted with a virus. While MS Doc files can contain scripts, I don't remember RTF files being able to do so. If that is the case, as long as it is a .zip file, or ultimately a .RTF file, you should only be getting one of those nonsensical false positives from your anti virus checker.
