Thanks, E.I was thinking it had something to do with seeing formatting characters. I do not see any of those punctuation marks in the original file. However, if I do a search for I^p, I find that the word I is actually the last word before a page break. So your theory makes since.

That is not a error in the file. The thing she is seeing as a paragraph marker is in fact, a paragraph marker. I will check out the commands for punctuation and send them to you so she can change the settings. She can read the manual. It exists in braille right on the braillenote itself.
