Should old acquaintance be forgot? No! And, new ones should be formed.
Come party with us and ring in the New Year, not once, not twice but four
times, one celebration for each continental US time zone. You will be
transported to each midnight celebration via the internet.

If you've never participated in the conference room don't worry. There will
be a link on the page leading into the room for the Talkcom Web Conferencing
software. Download this simple-to-use plug-in, install it and choose
"Enter" to go into the room. You will be prompted for your name but no
password is required.
What Date and Time?
December 31 from 7:00 p.m. PST, 8:00 p.m. MST, 9:00 p.m. CST, 10:00 p.m. EST
and 3:00 a.m. GMT until some time next year.
What to Bring:
Your unique personality. You might also want to have a microphone available
to chat, but you can also communicate via text chat using your computer
keyboard.
What to Wear?
Anything from a night gown to a ball gown. Remember the beauty of this is
that it is virtual and no transportation other than the internet is
required. So be prepared to relax, kick back and have fun!
Entertainment:
A program will be posted later, but you can expect talents ranging from
music to dramatic readings, recipe sharing to radio shows. . Some of you
have already offered your talents and Lissi and I will be getting in touch
with you. We encourage others to join in and share your special gifts.
Please contact Lissi and myself via the list to let us know if you are
interested.
You don't have to be a member of Bookshare to join in the fun so please
encourage your friends to drop by. We're hoping to welcome guests from all
around the world.
