Hi Sue! You're welcome. I just pass on what other people teach me! Thank Judy S. for teaching me about fonts and formatting in general! And I'm fortunate to live with a wonderful man who used to teach this kind of stuff to other blind people. Wish I figured out all this stuff on my own, but I rarely do. Thank you so much! Your tips have often helped me. You are using Jaws, right? Am I remembering correctly? If I am remembering correctly, here's what you do. Select the text of the chapter heading by doing this: Place your cursor at the leftmost end of the line of text that you want to know about. Press shift plus end. (This selects the text on the line that you're on.) Now, press the Jaws insert key (the 0 on the number pad) plus the letter f. This will make Jaws tell you all about your font, what font name it is, whether it is bolded or italicized, and its size, as well as whether it is justified, or to the left margin or whatever. You don't need to press escape or anything after that, just move on if it isn't messed up. If you need to change the font, that's a new kettle of fish, and I'll tell you how to do that if you need to know. Please ask if you need better instructions. Okay? Happy proofreading! So how do I tell if the chapter headings are already in a larger font? The submitter may have done this already. If you need instructions for how to enlarge just a chapter heading's font, speak up and either I or someone else can help you! I am, for the first time, trying chapter headings without protection. What I need to know is, would putting the chapter headings in all caps be considered a larger font? That is, would the converter consider it as a larger font and leave them alone?
