Thanks for checking Google books.

In the hard copy there is a rather long em-dash between the words "understandings" and "not" that touches these words at each end. I don't know if it will show up correctly in this email, but the interesting thing is that Google books had it one way and my hard copy had it another.

as I changed all of the em-dashes in the copy I used for submission, though after submitting:
