It's one thing to be melancholy and one thing to be sophisticated, but when you get the two of them together in a way people can relate to, then I think you're on to something. In the book I'm proofing now there are lots of sections with double blank lines between; I'm using only one asterisk in the space. It is, hard, though, and Valerie maybe you're having a similar problem, in ascertaining, in the print book, whether some of these these are line spaces or merely paragraph breaks. I have to look carefully down the page to find a paragraph break to compare with. As to paragraph indentations, I change the First Line in paragraph under format to .05.I missed the first time your (or whose?) question was raised ; I hope I'm not answering to the wrong thingCindyWish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites belowWish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+ListBooks Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List--- On Thu, 2/11/10, Valerie Maples <vlmaples@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:From: Valerie Maples <vlmaples@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: white space and organization To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Thursday, February 11, 2010, 1:41 AM Thanks for confirming my suspicion. It is really tough to describe, Lynnsky, and all very visual, sadly. For example, in The Secret, it might have insets from three different people (denoted by a small icon and their name bolded and occasionally their job titles) as well as a quote from another person with a script style signature after the quote, on a separate line. This is all in addition to the "normal" body of text. Clear as mud, huh? Valerie On Feb 11, 2010, at 3:07 AM, Lynn I wrote: > Hi Valerie! > > The triple asterisk reads as "star star star".
