Hi Gerald,
Yes, there are two copies of that book. I saw two copies on the step 1
page. I was in a hurry at that time and so didn't have time to reject one,
but when I went back later they were both gone.

Cindy.
They're probably duplicates, but it's theoretically possible that Gustavo
querried the database for books awaiting validation, then the validator
uploaded the book before he could querry the database for the books in the
admin queue. Not likely, though. I'm betting that the submitter submitted
the same book twice, and someone only downloaded one of the copies for
validation, then another validator came along and grabbed the second copy to
validate. That's why I mentioned the problem, to keep a second validator
from wasting their time if they're duplicates.
As I said in the original message, if you're currently validating Killobyte,
then you probably want to wait to see what shape the one in the admin queue
is in before going to the trouble of finishing the validation. However ,
Cindy, If you're not currently validating Killobyte, then you can ignore the
message since it doesn't apply to you. It's possible that it does apply to
someone on the list, though.

Gerald, I'm a little confused. Why is Killobyte on both the administrator approval queue and the books being validated list? Is one a duplicate?

Grace,
Rui labeled them correctly. The books in the third list match the ones on the Step 1 page. I also see a book I'm validating in the first list, and a couple of books I've validated and uploaded in the second.

Actually I think it's step 1 list. I think the 3rd list was mislabeled.
I will tell rui to fix it.

The book Killobyte by Piers Anthony appears both in the Admin Queue and on the list of books which are being validated. Of course it's possible that the book could have been uploaded between the creation of the two lists, but it probably means that someone's validating a duplicate. So if you're currently validating Killobyte, then you'll probably want to see what shape the one in the Admin Queue is in before going to the trouble of finishing the validation.
