The instructions say to... disconnect the keyboard from the computer put it keys down in the top rack of the dishwasher secure the cable with a rubber band to keep it from getting tangled in the dishwasher's moving parts set dishwasher to gentle, coolest water temperature, and air dry run through entire cycle using detergent remove keyboard and thoroughly rinse keys with water towel dry place in oven at 150 degrees or lowest temperature and finally, and I quote "Bake the keyboard until done, usually one to two hours. Let the keyboard cool, remove, and serve."
