Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Juvenile (middle-school) fiction: Friday Barnes series
I see the collection has the first 4 books in the Friday Barnes Girl
Detective series : Girl Detective, Under Suspicion, Big Trouble , and No Rules
( though they aren;t numbered; My granddaughter loved them and was wanting
numbers 5 & 6, The Plot Thickens and Danger Ahead, respectively; they don't
seem to be available anywhere in the U.S., but I think they are available in
Australia, some place called the Depository? If any of you live in
Australia and can get them for a reasonable price and are willing to scan and
mail them to me (preferably as paperbacks so the cost isn't prohibitive I'd
be happy to proof them to add to the collection; I'd return them to you after
my daughter has read them, though I don't know what shape they'd be in after
you scan and I proof them ( since I'll have to check the pages to be sure the
scan you send is the same as the book ) and she reads them though I would tell
her to be very careful;
