Amazon.com has a Toshiba 500 GB Portable External USB 2.0 Hard Drive for
$49.99. With free shipping, this is one of the best deals we've seen on a 500GB
drive. This drive features an 8MB buffer, shock sensor, and more.

Wow, 11 days without your computer, plus the loss of all your stuff, that's
harsh! I'm glad you're up and running now. Maybe you could think about
investing in a portable hard drive to back things up.

Thanks, I will check this out. My crash was BIG AND HIDEOUS!!!! (smile)
Not only was my hard drive destroyed, but even my drivers and ports and, of
course all of my programs. It was really my fault. When Word got corrupted, I
removed it. Then it seemed reasonable that if I did a "restore systems to a
prior date" I would get Word back. Well, the restore went okay, but of course
Word was just listed, not installed. So what did I do? Instead of leaving
things alone, I chose "undo previous system restore" and that is when I
crashed. So I will know not to do that again. It could be that some program
or something corrupted Word. However, the good news is that everything is fine
now, including Word. So now you have my sad story. I had read all the books I
downloaded; naturally!!! (smile) So it was a very boring 11 days!!!

      Thanks again,

      Sue S.

I do hope all is well with your computer issues you had mentioned
before the crash that is what I refer to. I use AVast to do all the scanning
and detective spy work that destroyers do for any suspicious activity, it is
free check it out from avast.com there is also a pro version you can get for
$39.95 I use the pro version and both versions work well wit screen readers if
you need help in setting it all up let me know if you choose this program,
crashes can be very hideous especially if there is some malware or such of that
nature, been there, don't want to be there again. Glad I was able to retrieve
that link for you.
