Evan The folks at Kurzweil and GW Micro (makers of Window-Eyes) are models of how to effectively use email lists in providing customer support. I suspect that a major reason fails to use this approach is that only a handful of outside volunteers are on this list; hence, it's not an effective use of time. In many ways, this list has evolved into a group more or less talking among each other rather than with BookShare.
