Dear Sharon and Everyone,
Sharon, your suggestion worked instantly and that's saying a lot because if
a mistake can be made on the computer, I'll make it. The alt v worked
flawlessly. I couldn't tell if normal was checked or not, but I entered on
it and the file popped up looking different and responding to the jaws
commands. I don't understand how this works, but I'm having a good time
editing. I'll probably have to learn more before I am able to actually
complete the task, but you really helped me to start.
Always With Love,
Lissi

Make sure your document has opened in a normal window. You can check this
by pressing alt+v and down arrowing and normal should be checked. If not,
press enter and it will then be in a normal window.
HTH,
Sharon

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Jaws left right arrows saying blank
Dear Volunteers,
I've finally unzipped a book to validate from the step one page. It was
in RTF. I began reading it line by line with the up and down arrows,
which worked as it usually does, but when I used the left and right
arrows to attempt to edit, jaws just said blank. Does anyone have any
ideas about this?
Thanks,
Lissi
