I prefer it at the bottom, Cindy, if you are taking a vote. Jill----- Original Message ----- From: "Grandma Cindy" <popularplace@xxxxxxxxx>

Thanks, Lissi. I'm willing to move them to the top if people want it. I suppose, since the book titles have three asterisks to make navigation easy, people can skip write to the list if they want. I'll ask tonight for people to let me know whether they want those URLs at the top of the list or the bottom. G.Cindy --- Estelnalissi <airadil@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Dear Booksharian Friends, Grand Cindy mentioned that about 50 of us get her daily posts of new books. I imagine all of you know how to get to the new books list from the Bookshare site, but we always have new members joining who may not have heard how Grand Cindy spoils us by sending us a list of the new books every day right in to our in box. She usually sends them later in the evening because sometimes staff adds new books after work hours and she doesn't want to overlook any new additions. Many of us think it's a treat to be going through our e-mail knowing we'll be finding a post that says, "New Books Added!. Sometimes we stop right then and download the keepers or we file her posts to a new books folder where we can later browse through deleting and saving titles or getting ideas for books we want to scan or validate next. Cindy does this as a convenience to us. She will do it for any member, not just for volunteers. She also does it for people not on the lists who just can't cope with the volume of our lists. We are a caring, talkative bunch as we continually prove with our vast volume of chat! So just ask Grand Cindy. Send her your e-mail address on or off list and I'd bet by tonight or tomorrow, you'll be added. Grand Cindy, what do you think of the suggestion of putting the links for the wish lists and Jake's site at the top of your posts of the new books. I've appreciated the fact you Include them so many times, because reading the list of new books often by association, prompts me to be curious about something I want to know and it's so quick to use your links to get right to the information I've gotten curious about. Keeping them where they are works for me just as well because I know they are there and get to them in a flash. Jake's site is on the Friends of Bookshare page, another treasure trove of useful links. For a while it wasn't responding, but it's fixed now. Jakes Site and Friends of Bookshare are both on my favorites, and still having them on Cindy's new books lists has saved me time. Grand Cindy, your spoiling feels warm and fuzzy. Sending a nice treat to 50 people is a significant act of generosity.
