Cindy, You won't be able to get this list by going to the Advanced Search page on Bookshare. The Advanced Search code supports sorting books by reverse publication date, but the form only supports sorting books in the order they were added to the collection, or sorted by publication date. The Tech Advisors are trying to get Jake's two links for listing the new books in English or Spanish added to the site, but there's a question as to whether or not to continue supporting the latest 100 books list, which the staff says they'd like to look into first. Dropping it would save Gustavo from having to update it, but I've been told that Kurzweil uses the New Books list, so dropping it could cause problems for K-1000 unless Kurzweil could switch to the new links. Ah. I had noticed that when I clicked on the list at Jake's site it looked like the Advanced Search--sort of. And I did forget to mention to Barbara that one has to sign in to use Jake's site. When I've used the Advance Search I use it to quickly look for a particular title or author. I never noticed that there was a list of new books. I always get my list from Jake's site. And it was your suggestion that has led me to include his URLs every time I post the books added list. smile. I'll have to look more carefully at the Avanced Search next time. smile Cindy --- Gerald Hovas <GeraldHovas@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > Cindy, > > The list is not on Jake's site. It's on > Bookshare's.
