Hi all,

OK, Cindy, if you want to go through all that, I'll wait patiently till the matter is resolved. I believe that Theresa's husband is a minister and he may have helped her to scan the books. The problem is that Theresa needs to learn how to scan better.

I have the RTF copy here. It's times like this when the restrictions on sharing copies of books between volunteers is a pain! I don't mind converting the ark files to RTF, be happy to do that. I could send the converted file to Karry, but I suppose that's illegal too? This is, um, rather self defeating!

I just don't want to go through all the detail work this book is going to take. It should probably be rescanned. If it's rescanned by Theresa, then she could at least do the courtesy of running the spell checker to get at least the main dross. I have a feeling that all the Krueger books are in the same condition. They're good mysteries, with good characters, and I don't mind reading them. Caveat, they *are* gorey and I think somewhat violent, so if you're not of a mind to read that sort of book, then if these are placed back on step 1, stay away from Krueger novels. I'm not a detail person, and that's huccum I released it.

As I say, I'll wait till I hear back from you on this.

Ann P.
