I think at some point I may look into a portable scanner. Another
question.... Shelley, have you checked your libraries there? I know you get
a lot of books through that system.

So if someone else lived near Los Angeles and had a
portable scanner (like my old one is very lightweight
and uses USB power only) and laptop they could go scan
the book.

For such a rare book it's worth thinking about if
anybody knows someone who knows someone...
