   I think that if the book has been on the check-out page for these couple of 
days, I suspect that the last proofer does not want it back and you can take it 
to proof.  I would!

hmm. she's the person who's listed in the history of  In the Company of the 
Courtesan  as having been proofng the book. I can't email her because when 
click on the name my browser's email  opens and we haven't set it up to work 
because we prefer to use our own.  I guess I should ask Madeleine to contact 
her and see if she wants to keep working on it or i it's all rightif I proof 
it.

  Freda, I took this because I was looking for something new to do. I saw that 
it had been released with no comment from the administrator so I assumed it 
wasn't something that you are working on and didn't get to renew; if you are
