Well, the publisher, TOR, didn't give Bookshare Towers of Midnight. So, unless they've changed their policies, or A Memory of Light is being published by someone else, they won't give that one to Bookshare either.
I waited for over a month for Towers to appear, thinking that because it was a bestseller, Bookshare would get it fairly quickly. Then I bought a copy, scanned and read through it, submitted it, and Christina proofed it. Our copy is still up there.
I'll check the publisher ... okay, AMOL is being published by TOR, which was the publisher of Towers. Unless they've changed their minds recently, TOR does not send books to Bookshare. Rather than wait around for who knows how long to see if Bookshare will do the book in-house, I'm thinking of preordering AMOL and then I'll have it as soon as it's published. It's due for release on January 8.

A question and some info. Are you referring to A Memory of Light, the final book in Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series? If so, only the hardcover and aubio is scheduled for a January release. The ebook isn't due out until April, that is unless the publisher gives Bookshare a jump on the general public.Original message:Hi everyoneUnless book share gets in memory of light from the publisher, how will we decide who gets to proof it? If no one else is interested, I would like to proof it.Thanks, LisaSent from my iPhone To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxxput the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
