Hi all,

If I find an error, sometimes it's difficult to tell if it's a scano or an editor's blooper. I figure if it's an error, like a letter out of place, I'll correct it. They happen in the best of books. Can't tell you the number of times over the years when conductors have said, "In measure X on page Y there is a mistake in the alto line. That should be a c not a d.

Nobody's perfect but God. Actually, I heard a story once that Japanese potters will deliberately create a small flaw in each of their bowls or pitchers because they feel that making a perfect product flies in the face of The Gods. Interesting, isn't it?
